The ELS team at the Tomelloso 10K

This Sunday, some members of the ELS team laced up their running shoes and pinned on their race numbers to take part in the Tomelloso 10K. It was a chance to share the miles and enjoy sport in our town.

Everyone tackled the race at their own pace, with their own goals and their own way of experiencing the course. For some, the challenge was the time on the clock; for others, it was completing the distance. What we all shared was the excitement of taking part and enjoying the experience together.

Personal bests are part of a race, but they’re not the only thing we take away when it’s over. We also take away the moments we shared and the satisfaction of having taken part in the same event, even if we covered the distance at different speeds.

Our legs may still be feeling yesterday’s effort today. Even so, we’re taking away the enthusiasm our colleagues brought to the race.
