ELS REFUELING TANKS ARE RIGID CHASSIS UNITS THAT HAVE SINGLE OR DOUBLE COMPARTMENT PRODUCT TANK WITH AN HYDRAULICALLY DRIVEN PUMP
The tank is constructed in aluminum alloy, and connected to the sub frame via sufficient flexible joints to prevent the transfer of the torsional movement during off-road driving.
The single compartment tank is fitted with baffles to prevent fuel surge under driving and braking and also to give rigidity to the tank barrel. Each baffle is provided with openings on their vertical centerline at top and at bottom to allow free flow of both fuel and air along the tank.
The tank is pressure tested after manufacture.
Manhole with quick lockable inspection cover with safety valve, and is fitted with pneumatically activated vent valves, which comply with the safety standards in terms to fire and explosion prove.
Tank contents indicator by gauge, mounted on side of the tank indicating the store volume.
The water sump of the tank is equipped with a pneumatically operated bottom valve.
Bottom loading system, consisting of automatic high-level shut-off valve and a bottom loading valve, pneumatically operated.
Fueling equipment cabinet mounted on the truck chassis directly behind the driver’s cabin, to store the complete equipment.
Pump suitable for pumping aviation fuel, equipped with a by-pass valve, driven from vehicle engine by power take-off from the gearbox.
Filter / water separator with internal coated steel casing and hinged cover, front loader type
Mechanical fuel meter with counter head; roller type with resettable large number counters (five digits) and non-resettable totalizer (eight digits) and rate-of-flow indicator.
Inline pressure control system with deadman control feature.
