THE MOST RELIABLE SYSTEMS TO COMBAT A FIRE ON ANY KIND OF  SITUATION

For firefighting missions ELS provides a great range of vehicles able to load large amounts of foam, dry powder and water. Safety devices are provided too as engine shut off valves, in line with the regulations of this kind of vehicles.

Pump:

High performance water pump driven from PTO transmission is mounted on the truck chassis.

The pump shaft is made of heat-treated stainless steel and includes self-lubricated, self-adjusting mechanical seals and heavy duty ball bearings.

The pump is equipped with suction and discharge manifold system to allow the following operations:

• Filling the water tank from external water source
• Filling the water/foam monitor by water from the water tank or from the external water source
• Pressure discharge with the pump

Monitor:

A water/foam monitor is mounted with full 360 degree rotation in horizontal plane and 70 degree elevation movement controlled by handle of the monitor. Access steps are provided at each side of the vehicle to allow the operator to reach the monitor quickly.

Foam System:

An in-line foam concentrate inductor is provided at the monitor to generate foam solution by drawing foam from its tank and mixing it with water from the pump at a ratio of ~6%. An adjustable spray nozzle allows the stream to be narrow up to 50 m distance and fog up to 15 m distance.
